Bit clips are useful for changing bits or reins over quickly.

They can also be useful for horses that are hard to bridle, giving you the option to place the bridle on without a bit and then clipping the bit on one side, and gently opening their mouth to inset the bit before clipping to the other side. 

They are threaded through your original cheekpieces or reins. 

The gap will take a 4/8 inch strap. 

Clips facing outward and keep away from haunts or objects that they may catch on.
