A practical rein which helps the rider to keep a contact, with the aid of half rubber for grip, alongside the 5inch placed notches to help secure the fingers.

The riders 3 fingers should be closed around the reins so the aids can be felt through a soft squeeze of the contact. If the fingers are too open the rider will keep grabbing the reins as the slip. This is helped by learning to close one’s fingers, and the aid of good reins. the notches upon the reins help to prevent slipping.
